Another rough animation I did for skullgirls.
This one is probably the most favorite out of all that I did. Painwheel’s Victory.
Okay. So for those of you that don’t know, I was one of the rough animator’s in the videogame called skullgirls.
So I thought I would show some of the work I did. So here’s one I did of Valentine when she revives fallen players. This was I think the final one I did for the project.
It has been a big pleasure to be apart of this project and a great experience.
Metaphorical Discussion
ME: I see you as hard as a pillar of stone most of the time. I wish I could be like that. But I feel that I’m just a tree. Swaying with the wind and bending at its will.
FRIEND: At least you are not grass.
ME: Lol true. And getting stepped on all the time.
FRIEND: A tree doesn’t get blown off that badly
ME: That’s true. Though I know lots of times if the wind blows hard enough, they can fall.
FRIEND: Or we can be the wind if they are so dedicated
ME: Hm… Wouldn’t we be too swept away?
ME: I think I know what you mean. Trees may sometimes bend or break with the force of the wind. But that’s what makes them stronger and more flexible.
FRIEND: I don’t know what I’d be because there is actually nothing that stays still forever, even a star.
ME: True. I keep thinking though if you were a star, you would shine very bright. At the same time, you’d be distant from the other stars. And the friends that you have will be below you.
… If you did become a star though, I would try to catch up.

Prince of Egypt - Pencil Test
This pencil test is probably one of the most impressive line tests I’ve seen so far in a while. It’s a slow scene but that’s what makes it impressive cause you can see the steadiness of the lines and proportion. Something that you really can’t see in faster scenes.
